SOUTH TYROL IN PRAGUE AGAIN - NEWS FOR SEASON 2009/10

24.11.09 | Traditional annual autumn meeting of South Tyrol representatives with Czech journalists took place on 19^th November in Prague. South Tyrol wanted to bring something special this year and to organize a little bit „different press conference".

The main purpose was to bring snow from South Tyrol to Petřín, highest hill in Prague (324 m n.m.). This goal was attempted by the Italian company TechnoAlpin, which is global market leader of complete solutions of technical snowmaking. The representatives of the company came to Prague with the newest model of snow gun T60. Unfortunately it was not possible to make snow because of too warm weather.

Meeting with Czech journalists took place in restaurant Petřínské terasy, which is very similar to the mountain huts on slopes in South Tyrol. Directly from South Tyrol also famous cook from mountain hut Las Vegas Lodge in Alta Badia arrived, who prepared delicious dinner menu.
