STUDENTS LEARNED HOW TO COOK IN SOUTH TYROLEAN STYLE
28.04.09 | On 18th March 2009 a lecture on South Tyrolean PGI and DOC products was held in the "gastrostudio" of the hotel school in Klánovice. These products are ideal for the high quality cuisine. The event was a part of the three year campaign called "New European Food Safety Strategy" taking place in the Czech Republic under the auspices of the European Union since the last year.
In the frames of the event the chef Stefan Unterkircher, owner of the Castel Ringberg restaurant (http://www.castel-ringberg.com/), prepared two typical dishes directly on the spot. The students learned a lot of interesting and practical information in the field of South Tyrolean cuisine and had also the chance to taste the delicious specialties on their own.
